Here are a couple more images we captured in the Duluth and North Shore Drive areas. When we travel there this September, we'll see sights like these and much more, including the much talked about Glensheen Manor, former home of the Congdon family.
Below, is the world famous Aerial Lift Bridge that allows giant freighters and ships to pass through into and out of the harbor. There's always 'action' at the harbor.
This is one of the most beautful, and famous, landmarks of the North Shore Drive of Lake Superior....the Split Rock Lighthouse.
Simply click on the photograph to enlarge it on your screen....then hit the 'back' arrow on the upper left of your screen to get back into the 'blog'.
We're getting very excited about going back. We hope you can join us on September 28, 29 and 30.
Details to follow.
